it's been a while

it's been a while since i last updated my blog like always
i dont know why but im just not into writing
I crapped in my previous entry that I wish somebody invented a device that can simply upload everything in ur mind that u wanted to say into ur blog
but now, I really mean it.

btw, i'll just update a little bit of myself
i'll be entering University soon

right know i am preoccupied my settlement preparaion
it looks like i have to move out of tokyo
to the outskirts
luckily the houses there are comparatively cheap
so im able to get a bigger house with the same rent

owh i feel so tired
need some sleep

economics says hi!!! politics says bye!!!

well i know to write about this is a bit out of date
but at least i gain some personal pleasure in writing this post.
especially to balance to the influence of the big guns of pakatan
who seemed to gain credits day-by-day
e.g anwar and his government-in-waiting idea(joke???)

well, let me recall things for you
tun quit UMNO last year on the 19th May
he made the announcement during his speech in Star City Hotel
back in our hometown, Alor Star
i was there to witness his shocking announcement
however i dont get the same chance to see him
handing in the the the UMNO membership form later when he rejoined

the question now is
with him now on the government's side
will the rakyat reconsider to come back
and join the Barisan or just stick to the Pakatan
or will neither "berbaris" nor "berpakat"
as they see this as another episode of
Malaysia's never ending political drama?

not just that, now if i see things correctly
tun is seen again as a malay-ultra as he was during the 70's
this somewhat gives credit to the government if malaysia is a single race country
however, there are chinese and indians and others(sorry tit is too long to list down every single one) to turn their back on barisan due to this.

however, it's not bad as well to turn to the Tun to seek some ideas from his experiences securing 2/3 majority in every election.

that's from the political ground,
from the economic spectrum, i have a personal hope that things will work out should the new supremo listen to the "apanama". it is this old chap who is the mastermind in pulling us out of '97 economic crisis.(you'll be aware of this if you look for best resource available + you are not the person who only type the word "anwar" in you-tube's search bar).

im not going to say much on that and i'll leave the searching job to you......

2 Sept 2009 PINDAH-LARI

1700 - move out from my previous ABK hostel

1830 - move in into a new studio house with a tub, shower and electric kitchen(all crammed into a monkey's kangkang TABATA studio house or apato). the rent is more expensive from the previous hostel but water, elecricity and gas are FREE!!!

1930 - tried an Indian Restaurant nearby ~ HARVALLEY????

2130 - i rushed to narita airport for i don't want to get up before 6am on the next morning to catch a train that takes around 1 hour from my nearest station to narita airport to board my 10am flight

2315 - arrive in Narita airport by taxi. the security stopped me and they let me wait for almost 20 minutes to make sure that i am really a passenger boarding on MH080 on the following day. they told me the terminal is already closed but i insist to stay at the terminal for one night after i explained the distance and how the the train works in terms of timing on the next day should they deny me from staying there(unlike KLIA, Japanese don't simply allow anyone to enter the airport if u don't have any business at the airport)

2345 - slept at a special designated place so that it's easier for them to monitor us. there's already two foreigners arrived there before me. okay. at least i'm not alone.......

songket burok abah.....

assalamualaikum
i believe most of you are already done with your raya shopping. that's not to my avail though. but i still have a glimpse memory of how raya shopping was. raya shopping is quite special in a way compared to other shopping. i believe most of the women knows more about the other shopping but raya shopping is focused mainly on clothes to wear during hari raya and also days during syawal.

raya shopping as i remember it, was full of surprises as u can never guess what colour your baju melayu or malay shirt will be(hah!!! so what???wanna call me racist??? like i care bcoz IT IS baju MELAYU!!!). although u already have in mind what colour you want to get for that year.,you will always end up buying one that you never expect. one thing that i am always proud of is having shopping mates that are straight-foward when u ask their opinion on ur choice of shirt and they are..............my family.

the dialogue above can be between any one of my family except my dad. he seldom take part in this kind raya shopping except when we go to buy his baju MELAYU (haha!!! so far the M-word had appeared twice. whatc'u gonna do???).

the songket belongs to my dad. nOO. he didn't got that from his raya shopping. he got from his wedding shopping instead, although i'm not sure whether such thing really exist. he wore that during his akkad nikah with my mum. so i guess that "sampin burok" is already 28 years.

that "burok" is actually a complement you know. i feel honoured every time i wear it. it gives this sense of tradition as in malay tradition and also family tradition. i am so glad that i bring it all the way to Japan. no matter how old it will be, i will still fold it around my waist proudly. for in my heart i hear, my songket may be old and dilipidated(a word shami suraini taught me) but "our songket" will live forever. it is us.
